Yokohama Model Net Type Pneumatic Rubber Fender (also known as Tire Chain Net Type Yokohama Fender) is a robust, floating marine cushioning device designed to absorb impact energy and protect vessels, docks, and offshore structures during berthing, mooring, and ship-to-ship (STS) operations. Constructed with a reinforced rubber main body and protected by a heavy-duty chain-tire net, it delivers exceptional performance with low reaction force, making it the industry standard for large vessels and harsh marine environments.

Design & Construction

Main Body
Made of high-strength natural rubber reinforced with multi-layer synthetic tire-cord fabric, ensuring excellent airtightness, elasticity, and resistance to seawater, ozone, and UV degradation.
Net Protection System
Features a heavy-duty net assembly composed of used truck/aircraft tires connected by galvanized horizontal and vertical steel chains. This net prevents direct contact between the fender body and the hull/wharf, drastically extending service life.
Hardware
Equipped with galvanized steel towing rings, flanges, shackles, and swivels for corrosion resistance. Stainless steel hardware is available as an upgrade. All chains are protected by rubber sleeves to avoid scratching the vessel's paintwork.
Inflation System
Standard ISO 17357 compliant air inlet valve with a safety valve (standard on large sizes) to prevent overpressure.
